Fall in Silver Dollar City - Day 7

Fall ventures to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO hold a special place in my heart. My husband and I
have been going every year for the last 12+ years, and our 6 year old daughter has not missed a year.
We spend a long weekend at the park during the National Harvest and Cowboy Festival and it truly
encapsulates everything about fall. The park is decorated top to bottom with changing leaves,
pumpkins, scarecrows, and corn stalks. The employee costumes are fall colors. The shops are full of
pumpkins and tiny bales of straw.
Our daughter loves these weekends, and for the foreseeable future, she will not know a fall without a
weekend at Silver Dollar City. Her favorite parts are the costumes, cinnamon bread, and visiting with all
the visiting demonstrating artists and full-time employees that we have befriended over the years. We
take old-time pictures and enjoy the live entertainment.
