I can remember many of my childhood costumes and classroom parties... back when schools could celebrate holidays with parties and homemade treats!
In Preschool, I was a pumpkin. In fact, all three the children in my family were a pumpkin at one time or another.
In kindergarten, I can remember nearly every girl in Mrs. Flanagin's class dressing as a Disney princess (hint: Belle was VERY popular that year!). I was a black cat.
In 1st grade, I was a Native American (complete with a homemade choker).
In 2nd Grade, I finally found my inner princess gene and wore a silver gown my by my mom and a purple rhinestoned crown that my sister got me at a renaissance fair.
What were some of your favorite costumes as a kid?
